Cooperation with authorities and organisations

The FDPIC cooperates with domestic and foreign authorities and organizations.

Federal authorities

We maintain a regular exchange with the National Cyber Security Centre NCSC and run joint projects on data security. In the case of legislative work, the Federal Office of Justice FOJ is our first port of call. On a case-by-case basis, we are also in contact with the independent supervisory authority for the federal intelligence service or other federal authorities.

Cantons

We work closely with the Conference of Data Protection Commissioners of the Cantons (privatim), particularly on issues of police law or health policy.

International

At the international level, we are represented in various expert bodies. We are particularly concerned that Swiss citizens enjoy the same rights and protection in terms of data protection as people in the EU.
