13.07.2023 - In view of the entry into force of the revised Data Protection Act on 1 September 2023, the FDPIC is completing its reporting portals with the online registration of contact details of Data Protection Officers.
Third reporting portal online
The Data Protection Officer (DPO) is the point of contact for internal questions on data protection or data processing within the organisation, both for the persons affected by data processing and for the FDPIC.
With the reporting portal now available, federal bodies and private individuals can transmit the contact details of DPOs to the FDPIC in a digital and secure way. The portal offers the opportunity for the reporters to view and adapt their entries at any time. In addition, they can receive a notification confirmation after successful registration.
